Oh Jen, that whole poem was lovely as usual, but the last two lines especially really struck me. You have such a way of imbuing sound into the language of your poems – I can always hear you reading them even when I’m really just reading them silently to myself. Anyone who has never heard your read your own work is hugely missing out.
